Future Developments of the Awake Center
Thanks to the continuous dedication and guidance of the two Awakened Zen Masters, Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien and Zen Master Thich Thong Hoi, many students have realized and believed in the capacity to Wake Up within, developed the goal to Wake Up, and offered donations to connect with the two Awakened Zen Masters. With the infinite Wisdom and boundless Compassion from the two Awake Teachers personally guiding the construction process and with the Awake goal of many students donating their efforts, time and monetary, the construction of the first building for the Awake Center – Universal Door Meditation Center was successfully completed in 2017.
Currently, on a 9-acre land, the two Awakened Zen Masters are planning for upcoming infrastructure development projects including: 9-acre landscaping and the Main Hall, the estimated cost for these projects is $2,000,000. The engineering design has been started and the construction will be carried out according to the plan when the target funding is met.
In parallel with the above projects, the two Awakened Zen Masters are also engaging construction engineers and architects to start the overall infrastructure development plan for the entire Awake Center – Universal Door Meditation Center including external halls, internal halls and other infrastructure with Zen design features in accordance to the overall master development plan to allow enough room for many people around the world to come for Awake practice.
The merits of the supporters to the construction of the Awake Center are immeasurable because it will be the place where the two Awakened Zen Masters guide many people to reach the shore of Awakening, helping many people and families to have Awakened happiness in life. The Awake energy that students receive in the Awake retreat will be dedicated by the two Zen masters to those who have been contributing to the construction of this Awake Center.
The Awake Center is a home for those who follow the Awake path under the guidance of Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien and Zen Master Thich Thong Hoi to return to the Awake Mind within. The Awake Center is a place to help people reaching the shore of Awakening. And it is also a place for all youth and teens and future generations to come weekly for practice to soon realize the Awake Mind within themselves. You are having the opportunity to follow the two Awakened Masters to practice the Awake path to return to the Original Awake Mind and at the same time help your loved ones to connect with the two Awakened Zen Masters.
